Sheri’s Family- So many memories… We will cherish them all and continue to share them with others as we lift our dear Sheri into the arms of our Heavenly Father and Savior. She was like another little sister to me and I am sure we razzed her, tormented her, but always loved her. She has always been a free spirit–loved by many. We love you all, Carla (Macky), Doug, Ben, and Emily Kozak

Gus,Linda and family, Bock and I were so sad to hear this. Our hearts were broken for all of you. Sheri always had a smile and a love of life. She loved her family so much! Never a time when we talked to her that she didn’t talk about her family and the love and pride she had shone bright. She knew what she wanted and went after it. We are praying for you all and your hearts that hurt so deeply. Nothing can prepare a parent or child for this but we know God will wrap his arms around each one of you and hold you when you need it. Her legacy lives on in her children and grandchildren. Love and hugs to you all.

To Sheri’s family: I have so many memories of slumber parties and fun times with Sheri. I moved to Canton when I was 9 & moved the summer after our a junior year of high school. We stayed in touch over the years & caught up at one of our class reunions – 20th maybe? I will be holding you all in prayer for this devastating loss for everyone. She lived big & loved fiercely. I pray she did not suffer. Big hugs to you all❤️

The loss of Sheri has left a hole in many of our hearts. Yep, we got in our share of trouble together back in high school, but we always had fun and had a new story to tell and memories were made. Having her spend time at my lake home, her keeping me posted on the happenings of other cantonites and those she cared deeply about. I remember stopping in and spending time with her when she was still very pregnant with Ashley, sitting at the food court at the mall for impromptu therapy sessions when life was a bit more difficult for her (little did I know I really needed those sessions too!), running into her bowling, attending the same parties, my list could go on and on. She even talked me into joining Facebook when we lost another friend many years ago. She said then she could always know how to find me if needed. This isn’t fair. This isn’t right. Yes, I am being selfish and she was doing something she absolutely loved, but it has left many of us devastated. We may not have been able to see each other all the time, but when we did, it was like we didn’t miss a beat. Sheri, thank you for being my friend. Thank you for sharing your parents with all us crazy classmates. Thanks for bringing amazing humans into this world who have since brought in your beautiful grandbabies. I will miss you forever. ~j~

Dear Friends and Family of Sheri, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I did not know her, but I just discovered we share the same birthdate, a few years apart. I didn’t witness the accident, but I passed the site about ten minutes after it happened. First responders were already on the scene, but it was obvious she was already gone. I’ve been thinking of her quite a bit these past eight days. I don’t mean to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to learn a little about her. Your tributes to her are so wonderful. May you all and Sheri find peace.
