We are so sorry to learn of Marcia’s passing. Vern and “the girls” always liked meeting for lunch and catching up on all the news since they all worked together at Sweetman’s. We were so thrilled to be invited to her last birthday party and was so glad she was in seemingly good health then. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are currently wintering in Mesa, AZ so we regret we cannot personally extend our sympathy to you.

I didn’t meet Marsha until she joined our Daughters of Norway lodge in Sioux Falls in March of 2018. She was so warm and friendly, with a great welcoming smile, that everyone instantly liked her. She was always ready to volunteer to help with any project or event until her health prevented her participation, but we were lucky to have her with us for the short time that we did. God blessed us with her presence.

She will be missed but not forgotten in our hearts. I am sending thoughts and prayers for the family. I always enjoyed visiting with Marsha at family gatherings. Or just getting an email from her.

Marsha was a kind, generous, quiet soul who just like her mom always made sure to stay connected with everyone-family meant a lot to her. Just as Aunt Evelyn used to write regular letters to so many of us that didn’t live back near family, Marsha kept in touch thru frequent emails. She was always on top of the latest birth, wedding, graduation, etc and I loved hearing from her. She was also one of the stable pillars of our every 3 year Mckenney reunion that was started so many years ago by our Aunt Andy. Our reunion in 2022 will not be the same without her and Aunt Andy to keep us organized. She will be missed dearly. May she finally be at peace and free of pain. God bless you Marsha, and our thoughts and prayers are with you Al,and MIke & Esther and the rest of the family at this time of saddness. Just know Marsha will live in in our hearts thru our many wonderful memories of her. Wish we could be there for the funeral. Love The Hupperts (Fred & Darcie, Ryan & Ashley, Quinn, Torry & Anna, and Brayden.) and the Vykoukals (Jaydee, Honza, Kaia, & Livy)

My dear cousin Marsha will be so so missed for a long list of reasons, just a few of those being, keeper of the McKenney line, her kindness and generosity, love of family. While my sister Wendy was sick she and Al looked in on her and I know she appreciated this as did the rest of her family. Growing up Wendy and I spent a couple weeks every summer staying with Aunt Evelyn, Uncle Glenn, Marsha & Mike, & Marsha would then also spend time with us at our place, what wonderful memories i have of these times. She is now rejoined with all of those that love her that have passed before her. She will be ever present in our hearts. Wish we could be with you in person to help in this time of grief, however Mark and I are wintering in Florida so we will not be there in person but we are there with you in spirit. All our love Mark & Teresa Anderson.

I’m so sorry for the loss of Marsha. She was a gem, always upbeat and smiling. I worked with Marsha and one of the things that I remember most was her dresses. She wore dresses and heels to work every single day. Also, she loved books and reading and making yarn hangars. I’m grateful I had the pleasure to spend time with Marsha a few months ago. We shared a lot of memories. May you be blessed by your memories of Marsha.
