    Family and Friends of Carol,
It’s been many years..but I believe Carol was a Waitress, for a while, at my Grandmother’s 24/7 cafe…the Dal-Ray. If that is so…I had a schoolmate that was a close relative/friend of her’s..Janice Bakke. If I am in error…no matter. Carol is still a sister in Christ. Comfort one another and cherish your memories of her…til you meet again..Beyond the Sunset.

My Sympathy to all of Carol’s family. I use to work in the downtown Sioux Falls and always took my cleaning to Shipley’s and I was always greeted with a warm smile and addressed by my first name. She knew everyone that walked through the door and it was always fun to chat with her. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and would share a story or two of her wonderful family. When she retired it wasn’t the same dropping off cleaning as I didn’t get to see the ray of sunshine that so brightly shined at Shipley’s. It was an honor and a pleasure to know her and I know how much you will miss her.

Punkie is finally at rest and not struggling to breathe……..What a hard, long fight…….

Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the services but so happy I was able to see her a few times over the past couple of months…….She was a great friend and we go back a long way…….highschool…….weddings……coffees when our kids were small and last, but not least, over the years kept a birthday club of a select few who got together periodically…..We will miss her smiles and all the fun times…

    You have my deepest sympathies……

I remember Punkie when she was about 3 years old . I was probabley 11 , I would go over and ask Florence if I could take her to park or down town, She was so darn cute with her long black curls, I would tell everyone she was my little sister. She was such a sweet little girl. She was sweet and funny after she grew up, too. Just saying…..
