I was so sad to hear about your mom. I am writing because she was such a great friend of my mom’s, Joyce Mohr. I have fond memories of the four “M”s having coffee after church on Sunday mornings! What a great group of people who enjoyed each other’s friendship. My prayers are with your family at this difficult time. Bonnie

Remembering Carol from when she was the County Treasurer in Lincoln County. What a wonderful person she was. Had many good visits with her. And, she helped me out when I needed advise on doing the tax sales and hunting and fishing licenses when they were first put on line. Sending all of her family and friends my deepest sympathy.

Craig, Kent and Kari – I am so sorry to hear about your mom. It never seems to matter if we “think” we are prepared for someone to leave us, it is still hard. Though words can’t take away the pain and hurt you feel, know there are so many of us keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. May you find peace in the memories you all have of this wonderful, kind lady.

    To the family of Carol,
I only met Carol a couple of times while she was visiting her sister, Mary in the hospital. Wish I could have knew her better. I did get to have lunch with her and her two nieces, Kathy and Christy at the Pizza Ranch last July. I am glad we were able to get together as we were celebrating her sister, Mary’s, birthday, who was in heaven. Glad I did have that time with her. Peace.

This picture of Carol says it all! Her smile is contagious and genuine. Looking at the picture stirred up many childhood holiday memories at Grandma Toms or Carol’s house. I stopped what I was doing, thought back, and realized that every memory that I have of Carol includes that smile and energy. I hope that we all can be influenced by her in these tough times as well as pass her warmth on to others in need in the future. My condolences to all who knew and loved Carol.

I knew Carol more thru my sister, Darlene Jacobs, when she worked in Canton.
Many times she said “going to coffee with Carol”. She committed how nice Carol was.
The times I was around her she was exactly that so kind & friendly. If you met her once you felt you had known her for a long time. You don’t come across those people often I was blessed to have known her.
To her family, may God hold you and give you comfort at this sad time.
