Service: A memorial service will be held at Lands Lutheran Church on May 6, 2013, at 10:30 AM, with a lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, family recommends memorials for research for Huntington’s Disease or the Garden of Memories at Moe Parish Park.
Terrance (Terry) L. Olson was born September 5, 1971, in Denver, Colorado and died March 13, 2013 in Johnstown, Colorado.
He graduated from Northglenn High School in 1989 and was educated at Metro State College, EMT, Paramedic School and North Washington Fire Academy. He enjoyed working at Northglenn Ambulance, North Washington Fire District and Frederick-Firestone Fire Protection District.
He married Michelle Welker in 1999 and they divorced in 2007.
He completed the Nursing Program at Casper College, Casper, Wyoming and received his Registered Nursing License in December 2011. He worked briefly at Centennial Peaks Hospital in Louisville, Colorado.
He was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease in December 2012.
Terry has enjoyed and maintained countless friendships throughout his life. He touched many people with his kindness, compassion, wonderful hugs and his quick, warm smile. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and his special dog, & constant companion, Prince. He left the world a better place for those left behind.
