Sean Vernon, age 52, died Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.  Services will be held at a later date.

        Sean was born on March 3, 1972 in Madison, WI to Gene and Edna Vernon.  He graduated from Hershey High School in Hershey, PA in 1990.  He attended Drexel University before enlisting inn the US Navy.  Sean had most recently worked as a salesman for True Green.

        Sean was an avid Eagle’s fan and enjoyed eating wings and watching the game with his sister, Dawn.  He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, weightlifting, going to movies, and spending time with his family.

        He is survived by his father, Gene Vernon; sister, Dawn Hawes; niece, Shelly (Mike) Gardner; great-nephews, Damian, Drake and Dane; along with many extended relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna.
