Janis, I saw this morning that your mom passed away and so sorry to hear that.
Mom talked about your mom so often, as did Elaine when they were together in the nursing home in Canton over a year ago. Just want to let you know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

To Olive’s Family – please know that we share in your loss at this time. Olive was a strong woman and a wonderful person. She was a quiet prayerful person and had a little smile that spoke volumes! I am just glad that we could call her our friend.

Our dear friend Olive was truly a one of a kind person to know. She was very devoted to her family and shared her Christian beliefs every day she lived. Olive and Cliff were our close neighbors for many years and we shared lots of great times together. Many cups of coffee were shared and we considered the Rikansruds to be a part of our extended family. Olive was so meticulous in everything she set her hand to from baking, household chores, bible studies etc. A great model to a new bride such as myself. I’ll never forget her great smile, good humor and loving hugs we receive on many occasions. She will always be a bright shining star in our memories. God Bless Olive’s memory in all our hearts! We give thanks that you were a big part of our extended family. Top and Maureen

To Olive’s Family: We were sorry to read in the Argus Leader that your mother, Olive, passed away. I have fond memories of Olive and Cliff being a part of our family all the while we were growing up. Shirley and I both remembered their visiting us at Lake Poinsett a number of times. It is always difficult to lose a parent, no matter their age. Please accept our sympathies.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Olive was such a special lady. I always loved chatting with her when I was visiting my father, Lowell. So much fun to have lunch with Charles, Marie, Dad and Olive. I know they’ve missed having her as part of their meals and fellowship. She’ll be missed by many. May ‘His’ peace be with you now. Thinking of you with sympathy, love and prayers during this difficult time. Thanks, Barb, for keeping us informed also.
