Marne Renae Mauch was born at McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD to John E & Evelyn (Carlson) Juel on December 2, 1954. She was baptized and confirmed at Springdale Lutheran Church. She attended Dayton District #33 country school through the 6th grade and then attended Harrisburg School and later received her GED. For 4 years she was a member of the Dayton Farmerettes 4-H club.

She loved anything regarding Harley Davidson and going to the Sturgis rallies, and her wardrobe of sweatshirts, t-shirts, and tank tops could prove that. She was a member of the Zzen Chapter of Abate. One other thing that she loved was the red cardinal, as did her mother and sister. She had many plaques and figurines of the cardinals.
Marne suffered from epilepsy since she was about 12 years old, COPD, and had a hearing loss and problems with vision due to Ushers Syndrome.
She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Thomas of Sioux Falls, SD, her son, Harley Mauch of Dell Rapids, SD and 7 grandchildren: Cimmone, Sequoia, Carlos (Junior), Violet, Brittany, Elizabeth, and Daxus. Other survivors include her brother, Steve Juel, her sister Nancy Garry, her aunts Thelma Juel and Shirley Juel, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
