Service: A celebration of Loxy's life was held in Florida earlier this month.
Loxy White Gruver, 66, formerly of Canton, died November 4th in West Melbourne, Florida. She is the daughter of former Superintendent of Schools C.E. White and Violet White. Loxy is survived by her sons, Curtis of Elwood, Virginia, and Jason of Front Royal, Virginia, Robert, her husband of West Melbourne and her brother Butch of Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey.
Loxy graduated from Canton High School in 1964 and attended SDSU in Brookings. She and her husband then moved to Centerville, Virginia. After retiring a few years ago, Loxy and Bob moved to West Melbourne where most of their time was spent with children and grandchildren. She will be missed by her immediate and extended families and friends who all gathered in Florida to celebrate her life. RIP
