Kenneth Steenholdt, age 76, died unexpectantly Thursday, October 22, 2020 at his home.  A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22 at Canton Lutheran Church.  A link to the livestream of his service can be found at www.andersonandsonsfh.com.

                Kenny was born on February 23, 1944 in Canton, SD to Raymond and Ruby (Twedt) Steenholdt.  He grew up and attended school in Canton.  He was baptized and confirmed at Canton Lutheran Church.  Through the years, Kenny had worked at the Fur Factory, a mobile home factory, A & R, and numerous other odd jobs.  He loved animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed feeding the squirrels.  He was an avid walker and liked doing puzzle books and word searches.

                He is survived by his sisters: Arlene Markle, Phyllis (Gerald) Suing, Karen Miller and Judy (Kenneth) Baatz along with numerous extended relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Curtis.

    Kenny was a polite and nice guy. Plus a hard worker. He painted the peaks of my dads house and at a great price ! Kenny used to rent us his little motorcycle when we were “kids”. ( about 16)
