Joseph Truman Haas, age 69, died Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Private family services will be held.
Joseph was born on July 27, 1953 in Canton, SD to Kenneth and Bonnie (Stueland) Haas. He lived in the Canton area his entire life. Joe loved to fish and paint.
Joe is survived by his brother, LeRoy (Charlotte) Haas, sister Lynn Miller, along with several nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Neva, Marie and Roberta.
Joe was stubborn, but likeable.
You just had to understand him.
All in all he always meant well.
I always liked him.
Roberta and families, I got to know Joe when I worked at Pump-n-Pak in Canton. Never caused me any problems. Got along fine with him. Wished him well. God’s got him now.
So sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. I always got along with Joe and talked to him when we say each other in town. He helped us on the farm when we were younger. He painted for my brother and sister-in-law several times over the years. RIP Joe.
Always got along with Joe he was always decent with me run into fishing down at Klondike when he was living down there give a beer or two known all my life he was different but i mind himdidnt
