So, so sad to say good- bye to such a wonderful, kind, gracious man. It is no wonder that he and my dad were life long friends. What a good pair those two made! The friendship of Herb & Grace was a priceless jewel in the lives of my parents and us siblings. I grieve for Grace and his family, yet rejoice for Herb and smile when I think of the reunion with their son Scott. Prayers for all the family.

So many fond memories of Herb over the years. What a gentleman. May the Love and Peace or the Lord be with you all now and always.
I always looked forward to seeing Herb He was exceptionally kind and good-natured — an entertaining storyteller. Herb and Grace, along with their children, brought so much joy to me while I was growing up. My husband Paul enjoyed talking to Herb, especially about the farm economy.
May God hold you in his loving arms,Sorry for the loss of Herb was always happy and loved to talk may he rest in peace
Dear Grace and family, we were so sad to hear of Herb’s passing. Lynn and I always enjoyed his visits and discussion about gardening and tips of what to do for better produce. He left a legacy of acts of kindness and friendships. He always had a smile and so pleasant to talk with. We missed seeing him out at our farm this past year because of COVID but Lynn sure enjoyed his telephone calls.
We know as you share stories and memories you will find comfort of family and strength in the caring hearts of friends. May God give you strength and peace. Our prayers are with you.
My thoughts and prayers with your family
Grace Bryan and Deb I am so sorry to hear of Herb’s passing. He was such a good guy and friend who always said Hi to me. Remember the rides Herb would stop and give me and Scott a ride to Highland Center for school and sometimes even a ride home all the way a half mile. Seems like yesterday. Anyway hope everyone is well and remember he is waiting for all of us . I am sorry but cannot make the funeral because still healing from knee replacement.
My condolences to the family. Herb was a great and giving man.
Grace, the beautiful imprints that you and Herb have place on many, many hearts over the years have been true blessings – reaching even the grandchildren of those who called you dear friends. May our Lord comfort and sustain you and your family with love through this difficult time of both sorrow and grateful remembrance.
We want to extend our deep condolences to you, Grace, Bryan, Debby and family members as you share wonderful memories of Herb as hubby, dad, and granddad. Bryan and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Herb’s passing. He was always so kind to me at the elevator and gave me the best garden goods.
The pressure is now on the family to take over his garden.
God gives us memories to cherish.
