I’m so sorry to hear of Fluff’s passing. He was a special patient and friend to me. I got to know him when I transported him to the hospital one time a few years back. I worked at the Cenex Convenience store in Lennox. Fluff used to come in and visit with me on Saturday mornings for awhile. He was such a sweet man. I know that he missed Dixie terribly. I’m sure that he is very happy to be with her, together again. I will really miss his sharp wit and his wonderful smile. My sincere sympathies to all of you as you grieve the loss of someone very special.

We always enjoyed cousin Everet, and I can remember his dad’s happiness the day he was born in 56. I regret that we didn’t have enough time to see him on our last trip to Sioux Falls. Now we can never have the chance for a do-over. I know he was loved by his family, but the whole Haverberg family loved him too. We regret that we will miss his funeral on Friday too.

So sorry to read about Evert’s passing. I was his teacher at the country school north of Centerville many years ago. I was just out of college and those boys love to give me a rough time!! Thoughts and prayers sent to the family. May all your memories help ease your pain.

My husband, Gene, is the director for Lennox Community Transit and assist him with taking clients formedical appointments, etc to Sioux Falls. We had the pleasure of taking Fluff many times overnthe last few years. He was always in a great mood and was a k oy to visit with. He always talked about his dear wife, Dixie and his daughters & grandchildren. He loves you all dearly and appreciated all you did for him. He was a special man and we will miss him greatly.
