Service: Esther’s memorial service is at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 28 at Canton Lutheran Church, Canton, SD with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Canton SD.

     Esther M. Anderson, age 77, of Burnsville, Minnesota died peacefully on April 23, 2018.

      She was born January 22, 1941, in Canton, SD to Gerhard and Gladys (Rowe) Jensen. She graduated from Augustana Academy in 1958, and married David Anderson in 1961; moving to Burnsville in 1973. She was a committed homemaker who dearly loved her four children. She enjoyed volunteering at church, gardening and sharing the love of Jesus with many.

     She was preceded in death by her loving husband David, son Aaron, brother Johan Jensen, and sister Sonja Halvorson. She is survived by loving children Debra (Jim) Backer, Todd Anderson, Sonja (Matt) Bomhoff, grandchildren Katie (Eric) Magnuson, Laura (Don) Meves, Amy (Dom) Favor, Andrew Johnson, Mallory Bomhoff, and Ashley Bomhoff, as well as Paul (LaVonne) Jensen (brother), Solveig (Lew) Loken (sister), Cindy (Holly) Pederson (sister), DeAnn (Phil) Purcelli (sister-in-law), and other loving relatives and friends.
