Daniel Dixon Scott (Danny/Dan/Bubby), age 60, died unexpectedly, from a stroke, on July 26, 2025.

Daniel was greeted in Heaven by his parents, James and Maureen Scott, brothers Roger, Robert and sister Ginger. Also greeted by his 2^nd dad O.G. Waldrop (Pat) and his best friend Sherwin “Scooter” Beadle, Jr.

His memories are forever with his son, Daniel Scott II of McComb, MS, the loves of his life, Lea Ann Westbrook Scott of McComb, MS, Vickie Mizell Scott of Gulfport, MS, Glenna Farnsworth of Canton, SD. Also keeping his memories are his sister Peggy Scott Hancock (John) of Canton, SD, brother James Gary Scott (Donna) of Tylertown, MS, sister-in-law Vickie Scott of Holley, FL nephew, Michael (Amy) Rester & son Ares along with  many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Also missing him is nephew Greg Slabaugh of Gulfport MS and his 14-yr old puppy Peanut.

Daniel had a passion for music, motorcycles, traveling the open seas, and fixing mouthwatering food on the grill. His smile was infectious; his love was never ending and his willingness to help anyone was beyond this world. FROM NOW ON.

He owned The Dirt Store in McComb, MS, was General Manager of 1100 Springs Dallas/Fort Worth TX, worked for Alutiiq, LLC, drove a big rig for Werner Enterprises, Safety Manager at EMR in New Orleans, La and was a Safety Officer at Chemours in Pass Christian, MS.
