Ann was my mentor. I student taught under her and got my job because of her recommendation. I now teach her geography class at Canton Middle School. I loved when she would bring us treats, like blueberry cheesecake. I’m so heartbroken and will miss her so very much. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I am saddened by the death of my Beresford High School friend and classmate. I have so many memories of the fun times we shared. She always kept our class of ’62 informed and organized coffee events once a month plus many class reunions. God bless you Ann and also your loving family. Faith in God will help all of us at this time.

My love and sympathies to all of Ann’s family. We grew up just west of the Folands. I rode the school bus, and went to Luther League with Lisa, Adam and Lori. Ann was my teacher in Jr. High, and I loved her. Grammar class was one of my favorites! I will remember her as a kind, sweet, warm and loving person. She made the world a better place.

Ann was a lovely lady!! I had the privilege of living close to her while growing up and going to Lands Church and Sunday School with her and several years ago had the pleasure of sitting by her on a plane ride to Arizona! Such a nice surprise and we got got up a bit saying we would get together sometime again soon – of course it never happened I’m sorry to say. She was so proud of her family and told me about them. May all the great memories you have of her help ease the sorrow you’re feeling for the loss of your wife, Mom and Grandma.
