Grateful for sharing her life are her children, Linda (Craig) Ness VanBockern, Canton, SD; Deanna (Dennis) Ness Ridpath, Choctaw, OK; Laurie (Henry) Huyser, Inwood, IA; Jane (Rory) Hermsen, Freeman, SD; Jeff Larson, Sioux Falls, SD; and Bonnie (Thomas) Higgins, Park Rapids, MN; grandchildren, Shane (Nicole) Van Bockern, Jill (the late Chad Johnson) Johnson, Denise Ridpath, Debra (Patrick) Tielborg, Darek (Brandi) Ridpath, Brent (Gina) Huyser, Heather (Gary) Brands, Lucas Huyser, Tyler Larson, Bryant Larson, Chelsie Hermsen, Brooke Hermsen, Chet Hermsen and Taylor Hermsen; 13 great-grandchildren; along with numerous extended relatives and friends.

Linda and all the rest of the family have my sympathy. We so enjoyed your mother at our “Birthday Brunches” at Laurie’s Café. We just had one this morning and remembered your mom. Most of the ladies from that time are no longer with us, so many did not know her. She will be missed. May your memories, like mine, of happier times give you peace.

    To family of Delores Larson:
Dear Linda and siblings–We were sorry to hear of your mother’s passing and wish to express our condolences. Of course, we have memories of happier times of so long ago. We are sorry we cannot attend the funeral as we are now residents of the Dow Rummel assisted living facility in Sioux Falls. May the Lord bless and strengthen you in this time of sorrow.

Linda and all of Dolores’ family: Sincere sympathy to you in the loss of your Mother. I remember visiting you at your home in Canton and then later were at Al and Dolores’ on a farm. My parents (Francis and Mildred Espeland) were friends of them—and my Dad bowled with Al. So long ago, but good memories. Thinking of you all, treasure your memories!
