Dear Bev and family, our deepest sympathy to you at this very sad time. Bob was a very dear friend and we will miss him. May your beautiful family memories and your faith in God be your strength in the days ahead. So glad we got to see you both on Tuesday
Bev and family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Pat really enjoyed working with Bob and talking to him. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
How sad to read of Bob’s passing. However, nothing can take away my fond memories of when he, Kenny Anderson, and I worked together at “Ma Bell”. I recall the first day, a cold snowy day, when we were to pull a 16 pair cable through the backyards and over the fences in the Norton/Frolich addition. It was about a 4 block pull and I thought it was rather tough going, even with Bob and Kenny pulling behind me. It was many years later I found out I pulled that length of cable alone. Bob and Ken wanted to find out if I was worth having on board. There were also countless lunch hours of playing knock poker. The new kid, that was me, had to sit in the truck cab while they sat comfortably in the crew cab of “Old Leroy”, our line truck. We had so many laughs. So I send my condolences to you, Bev, and the family concerning Bob’s passing. Although I never saw him much after I left “Ma Bell”, I have never forgotten the friendship and association with him. He was unique! Royce G. Adams – an old “grunt”,”stump jumper”, and “skinner”
