John and Darlene Lee Memorial Service

A memorial service for John and Darlene Lee will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 17th, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Home in Canton.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery near Canton.

John Edward Lee, Jr. was born May 6, 1926 in Canton to John Edward Sr. and Gail (Bartholomew) Lee.  He attended school in Canton, graduating in 1944.  He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 – 1946.  He attended the Naval Academy and graduated from SDSU with an engineering degree.  He died November 16, 2012.

Darlene Lee was born September 17, 1930 in Canton to Alf and Jenny Miller.  She attended school in Canton, graduating in 1948.  Darlene died April 2, 2014.

John and Darlene were married in June of 1951 at Canton Lutheran Church.  John was employed by Hughes Aircraft for many years.  He and his family lived in Wichita, KS and Huntsville, AL before moving to the Seattle, WA area.  They were living in Kent, WA at the time of their death.

John and Darlene are survived by their son, Kevin and his wife, Landi, Lee and 4 grandchildren.  John is survived by a brother and Darlene is survived by a sister, Irene Franken and a brother, Parnell Miller.
