Larry Earl Evans, age 70, died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by family.  Per Larry’s request, no public services will be held.

Larry was born in Long Beach, CA to Earl and Barbara (Berry) Evans.  Larry grew up in California, graduated from Anaheim High School in 1969, and attended Palomar Jr. College.  He married Patricia Logandice on February 19, 1971 in Anaheim, CA.  The couple lived in California until moving to an acreage north of Canton in 2008.

Larry spent 30 plus years in the construction industry, mostly as a general superintendent.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, target shooting, fishing, gardening, restoring cars, and doing construction projects.  He also loved rock climbing with his 1980 CJ7 Jeep and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was a member of the Canton Lions Club.

Larry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia; daughters, Kim (Brad) Meyer of Sioux Falls, SD and Dana (Brian) Potts of Brandon, SD; sister, Susan (Tom) Sherman of Valley Center, CA; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim.
