Lancaster, CA. Alice Irene Mitchell, beloved mother, sister, wife and friend went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Alice is survived by her daughter, Lois James and son, Verlin Mitchell, as well as three grandsons, Michael, Scott and Todd James and their spouses, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Alice was born June 1, 1911 in Inwood, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at Anderson Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 20, at 11:00am. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery near Canton. www.andersonandsonsfh.com
I know this is a very difficult time for the family. Something that has always given me comfort is a scripture at Revelation 21:4, it says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” I sincerely hope this brings you some comfort.
