Kevin Schlotterback, 47, passed away suddenly at his home on July 29th, 2011.
Kevin was born March 30, 1963 in Sioux Falls, SD. He went to school in Castlewood, SD and graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1983. He moved to Minneapolis and lived there from 1983 to 1987 and then moved back to Harrisburg to be closer to his parents.
Kevin enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his brother and brother-in-law and enjoyed the poker runs. Kevin has a large DVD collection and enjoyed watching movies. He also loved the outdoors and playing pool with his friends.
Survivors include his parents, Mel and Bev Schlotterback of Harrisburg, SD; sisters, Julie (Jack) Nicholson, Brandon, SD, Cheryl (Loren) Stanton, Piedmont, SD, Dortha (David) Sattler, Republic, Washington, Sandra Schlotterback, Harrisburg, SD; brothers, Gary (Peggy) Schlotterback, Watertown, SD, and Chuck Schlotterback, Sioux Falls, SD; special friend, “Mikey”; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Kevin, I will truly miss you! You are the reason that I love to play pool! If not for your competetive nature and not letting me win, I would have never had the drive to work harder and practice more to try and beat you. It did not just stop with pool, but with hours upon hours of Tetris or Pacman or other similar games. Thank you for the memories and fun! Love you, Aaron

My deepest sympathy to the Schlotterback family. I had the opportunity of knowing Kevin in school along with spending the last 2 Harrisburg Days with him, Mikey and Kevin Coyne. He will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. God Bless

Melvin, Bev and Family I am sending my sympathy,thoughts and prayers to you all. It has been over 30 years since I have seen Kevin, but I have many great memories of time spent with him and the rest of the family at your farm, they were some of the best days of my childhood. I will always cherish those memories, thank you all, for having been part of my life. Kevin maybe gone, but his memory and love will live on in all of us.
