          Christopher “Chris” Eric Lohre, age 42, died suddenly Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his home in Sioux Falls, SD.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 2 at Anderson Funeral Home in Canton, SD.  Family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service.

          Chris was born on December 9, 1976 in Willmar, MN.  He grew p and attended school in Willmar.  Chis loved the MN Vikings and WWF wrestling, especially Hulk Hogan.  He enjoyed 80’s music, writing letters, telling stories, watching the news and Wheel of Fortune, sweets, soda and attending prom in Wilmar with his special friend, Miranda.  He lived and worked at the Volunteers of America in Sioux Falls, SD.

          Grateful sharing his life are his brothers, Jamie (Stef) Haugen, Fargo, ND and Paul (Nicole) Lohre, Faribault, MN; aunt, Linda (Gus) Gustafson, Harrisburg, SD; uncles, Denny DeGroot, Harrisburg, SD and Tom Thompson, Beresford, SD; special friend, Miranda; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.   He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Haugen; grandparents, and aunt, Debbie.
